What this covers
This page describes the information KLOUDERY handles to run the file space, the sends, the shared links, and the work group. The rules for using the service are the Terms of Use.
Information we keep
- Account details you give us: name, email, company if you add one, and a password stored only as a hash.
- The files, folder names, messages, and link settings you put in the space.
- Plan, storage use, and the people you invite, including their role.
- A sign-in session cookie so the space stays open while you work.
- Basic server logs, such as the address of a request and the time, used to operate and protect the service.
Why we use it
We use this information to create the account, confirm the email, store and deliver files, show a space to the people you allow, enforce the plan limits, and keep the service working. We do not sell your files or your contact details.
Who else sees it
People in your work group see what their role allows. A person with a link you created can open what that link points to, and they can forward the link. We use a mail service to send codes and notices when that mail account is set up. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the service and its users from abuse.
How long it stays
Account information and files stay while the account is open, unless you delete them. A transfer or a flash send is removed when its time ends, unless you keep that send in your space. After an account is closed, we delete the space. Routine backups, if we make them for our own operations, can keep a copy for a limited time. We do not promise to restore a file you deleted.
Security
The space is private to the account. Files are not published as a public gallery. Access is the password, the people you invite, and the links you create. No method of storage is perfect. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot lose, and do not share your password.
Children
The service is for people 18 and older. We do not aim it at children.
