How the service opened

KLOUDERY began in 2009 for studios and companies that needed a private place to keep work and hand it to a client. Accounts were opened by the company, not from a public form. By 2014 the same closed service was in use across North America, Europe, and Latin America.

In June 2018 the first personal spaces were added, still by invitation, for people who already worked with a company on KLOUDERY. Through 2019 and 2020 that door opened further: a household, a freelance practice, then anyone who needed a private space of their own. Company accounts stayed the core. Personal accounts sit beside them.
